I'm about to create a little file-server + bittorrent server for my fiance. Its a hand me down dual 700mhz P3, with 256MB of RDRAM. I've decided to run ubuntu hardy server, as stripped down as I can get it.
I've always used azureus + htmlwebui plugin for remote bittorrenting, but was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions. I'm hoping NOT to have to install X11 on the box to save some RAM/speed, but will if i have to.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Doing a bit of googling has led me to wtorrent + rtorrent.
rtorrent is a CLI (no X) torrenter and wtorrent is probably what you're looking for.
